Point Lonsdale Beach House

A classic beach house in the small, popular fishing town of Point Lonsdale. Two bedroom, one bath property with all the comforts of home. Only a block and a half from the beach and situated on a quiet street. Bedroom 1 has a double bed, bedroom 2 has a queen bed, and a queen blow-up bed is available. All towels and linens are supplied, as are paper goods and laundry soap. A new washer and condenser dryer are available for your convenience, as is a drying line in the fenced and gated back yard. Dogs are welcomed - outside only please, where we have provided a comfortable kennel.

Our gîte is modelled on the places we have stayed in France. It has a French provincial rustic charm, in a coastal location.Totally private, pet friendly and set in a pretty garden setting the beach is a short 10 minute walk away . There is a "petite" kitchenette ; a sandwich maker;kettle;toaster;slow cooker,; electric pan ;small fridge and basic pantry items . Sunny outdoor spots and a chiminea add to the appeal. The gîte is perfect for a relaxing break or to work remotely in a quiet space.

Corsair Cottage, beach over the road

Classic beach house in a great spot. The beach opposite is great for kids & dogs, so bring them both. Stroll the dog beach to Queenscliff or the seaside boulevard to Point Lonsdale. Maybe you’d rather meander through the moonahs of ‘Lovers Walk’ or follow the shores of Swan Bay. Look for dolphins as you swim or snorkel, then rinse off in the outdoor shower. Enjoy a BBQ whilst the kids and dog explore the secure yard. End the day in the outside bath under the stars, listening to the ocean.

A light filled yet cosy two-bedroom cottage, only 500 meters from the front beach. We have a full kitchen, and the pantry is stocked with your foodie basics. Outside a spacious backyard with BBQ and firepit. A twenty-minute stroll along the promenade will lead you to our historic lighthouse, shops, cafes and wine bar (a couple of minutes if by car). The front house was built in 1863 for a sea pilot and the “Rusty gate “ section that you will be staying in , is at the rear and is named this because you will enter through a Rusty Gate into the property , was built on later in the 1900s . It has a wonderful atmosphere and is peaceful and quiet . It is only a few minutes walk to the beach and shops .
