After a day exploring everything Ayrshire has to offer (be it history, culture, walking, seaside or golf) settle down in front of your roaring log burner or enjoy a drink on the private deck. Watch as the sun sets over the hill in front of you. Then, above you on a clear night, the Milky Way and a myriad of constellations appear. Truly rested, fall asleep in comfort & silence.

Garple Loch Hut

Unfortunately no dogs/children/ infants are allowed as we are a working sheep farm & surrounded by water. Discover the ultimate escape at Garple Loch Hut, set on your very own private loch with no one else around. Located on a peaceful sheep farm in Dumfries & Galloway, this hidden gem offers solitude, stunning scenery and unforgettable wildlife experiences. Escape the hustle and bustle and relax in this private garden lodge with its own parking. Step out side and walk straight into the countryside. Explore the abandoned iron works, discover some of Ayrshire's lost villages, visit the Ayrshire Railway Preservation Group. Hop into the car and within 30 minutes you could be relaxing on the beach, discovering Calzean Castle, visiting Burns' Birth place or eating in the many fine restaurants and Cafes in Ayrshire. Or enjoy the views from the lodge.

The Ayrshire Loft at Cloncaird Castle

The Loft is a stylish space, an open plan living area welcomes you with underfloor heating, comfy seating. In the kitchen, a breakfast bar, electric oven, hob, fridge/freezer dishwasher and microwave. A dining area and wet room located on the ground floor with shower, basin and WC. A spiral staircase takes you to the mezzanine floor, super king size bed, the finest linens and atmospheric beams. The burn flows outside, the ultimate cosy and romantic couples retreat in the Scottish countryside.

Secluded Luxury Meadow Yurt sleeps 4, nr Ayr coast

'Meadow' is in its own private garden overlooking our wildflower meadow. Great for couples / young families with a double bed and sofa bed within the yurt. It boasts a cozy woodburner and its wonderful open roof to watch sky. The private bathroom, compost loo, kitchen & patio provide home comforts. Max 2 small dogs. This is a farm: dogs to be kept on leads at all times outside. Our chickens & goats wander around the farm. Extras for your stay are available to purchase through the website.

All exclusive use. This one-of-a-kind Airstream conversion is bright, quirky & cozy with wood stove, king bed, sofa bed, plumbed wetroom, full kitchen + even doorbell! Retro made perfect.

The Haven & Summer Hoose

The Haven and Summer Hoose are a cosy yet spacious cottage and quirky cabin that come hand in hand. The Haven cottage itself oozes charm with log burner and all the home comforts you could hope for. The Summer Hoose, a stunningly stylish cabin that’s the perfect place to retreat beside the fire, drink in hand and record player on. Nestled on Main Street in the picturesque village of Straiton they are just a stones throw from the local amenities. Sorry strictly no pets.

Doonbank Cottage Bothy

Whether you're looking for a one night business stopover, a couple of nights to attend a wedding at the Brig O'Doon, or a self catering holiday break, Doonbank Cottage's Bothy offers an exclusive, flexible & private accommodation. The Bothy is a beautifully presented & spacious, one bed detached house. Set in 4 acres of Doonbank Cottage's woodland garden on the banks of the River Doon , it is a very peaceful and quiet location. One (medium sized) dog allowed.

Carrick Lodge at The Old Church, private retreat

Carrick Lodge is one of two lodges within the private grounds of our larger property, The Old Church. Set in a semi-rural location, it is a private and exceptionally comfortable space featuring a lovely private, secluded and sheltered covered decking area with wood burning stove, allowing you to enjoy nature all year round. The local grocery shop is less than a 5 minute walk, with many restaurants and outdoor attractions only a short drive.
