Originally built in the 1880’s, its thick adobe walls, original mud floors, reed ceilings and thatched roof are natural insulators against the heat and cold of the Little Karoo. Mountain biking, hiking, birding and river and dam access mean that there are plenty of outdoor activities for the whole family.
