Our front yard is the Santa Fe River. Come enjoy a nature retreat in this cypress log home! Right by Tree House spring and nestled between two state parks, but less than five minutes to downtown. Whether you are looking for rest and relaxation or recreation, our home offers both. Take in the scenery and catch your dinner from the riverbank. Recline in the sunshine on our dock (12’ x 12’). Keep an eye out for otters! It is a two hour float downriver to Poe Springs, Rum Island, and Blue Springs.

Rose Cottage at Alpaca Acres

Relax at this cozy, tranquil cottage on our small farm in the country outside Gainesville yet close to Santa Fe College, High Springs and Alachua. Compact cottage has a full kitchen and bath, queen bed, twin air mattress, indoor seating and outdoor picnic area. We have a few friendly alpacas, chickens, dogs, and assorted birds. Well cared for pets welcome, property is fully fenced. Great place to stay to explore the springs, go antiquing, or check out Gainesville's food, music and fun.

Peaceful Palms

This simple green and open property is conveniently located VERY near many beautiful springs and paddling trips on the Sante Fe river. The home includes a full kitchen with stove, cooking essentials, Keurig and a couple complementary coffee pods. There is also a fridge/freezer, and laundry area with washer and dryer. Two TV’s, a 55 inch and 40 inch. The wifi is lightning fast. We allow up to eight guests, but there are only two queen beds to sleep on. We do not provide extra bedding.

We are next door to Rum Island Park which is a swimming spring, kayak and canoe pick up/ drop off/boat ramp location. It is a private cottage. 1 bdr Sleeps 4. 1 Bedroom with a sleeper sofa. You’ll love my place because of the location. The river is in the backyard. You can launch your personal canoe or kayak. Sit by the fire pit or enjoy the deck and cook out with friends and family. Our cottage home is perfect for those who prefer to "glamp." You can be as active or sedentary as you'd like to be in the High Springs area and have the perfect spot to relax, unwind and reflect. There's much to experience just sitting on the porch and watching and listening to the river and wildlife meander on by.
