NEIGHBORHOOD FEEL ~~
My place is in the lively North Shore area, adjacent to vibrant and historic North Side neighborhoods of Pittsburgh. It is in a typical urban neighborhood with urban sounds such as the street sweeper (Tuesday), the city bus (4AM-Midnight), an occasional siren, teenagers on cell phones, lots of pedestrians, etc., but it's generally very quiet at night. Mostly residential comprised of single-family homes and a few apartments, large historic cemetery across the street, busy front street (one-lane each way). My neighbors are from varied types of backgrounds... everything from architects, bakers, and bus drivers, everyone knows each other. Everyone will smile or wave to you whether they know you or not. Bicycle friendly, with bike lanes in front of house. Locking bicycle storage is available at my place.
See street PHOTOS in my photo section.

Uber, Lyft and zTrip serve my home - great drivers!
UBER PICKUP AT THE PITTSBURGH INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT.
Request an Uber when you’re near baggage claim or ground transportation. Choose a ride option that suits your group size and luggage storage needs. From baggage claim, exit out of DOOR 4 to the commercial pickup curb. This is where all Uber driver-partners at PITTSBURGH INTER'L AIRPORT meet travelers for pickup.
Wait curbside for your Uber driver. If you can't find your driver, contact him or her through the app to confirm your location.
My place is in a residential neighborhood with a full-service grocery store, dry cleaners, gas station, fresh bread factory (open to the public), sidewalks, street lights, plenty of parking, outdoor walking spaces (historic Uniondale Cemetery), and more. I am not within walking distance of coffee shops, restaurants, bars, and other night life, however, all of these types of establishments are within one or two miles. My neighbors are quiet (louder in the summer), and are working class people. You won't see graphity, but you will see people from many walks of life, colors, socio-economic status, and personalities. I love my neighborhood!! Say "Hi" and you WILL get a "Hi" back!
