It's a short 2-minute walk down private path in front of the house over the dune to the beach.  Versatile cottage for those who want to disconnect and relax (with a lot of options to entertain yourself and the kiddos), but also has upstairs work space with 24'' monitor for those who need to plug in while others are relaxing, exploring, or enjoying the beach.

Oyster Palace is located in the heart of Salvo. It is located in a family friendly neighborhood walking distance from the ocean. Sand street offers a public beach access. The Salvo Day Use Area is within a 5 minute drive, where you can enjoy many sound side activities. This features a porch sitting area and a green house full of fresh herbs for your cooking needs. Summer is in full swing and the ocean temperatures are mild :) Enjoy marsh views with an ocean backdrop from the covered porch of our little modern beach house. Designed and built by us, the Surf Bug has handcrafted details and everything you might need to feel at home while away from home. The beach is just a three minute walk without crossing any streets. I am a meticulous cleaner, and the white 100% cotton bedding is made in Portugal.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Walking distance to some of the best surfing on the east coast as well as restaurants ,coffee shop, pizza! , pier , small grocery store , and kite boarding on sound .
