Very nearby there is a bike rental, or you can download the app "Mobike" to use the bikesharing service in Florence. Also nearby Bohémienne Penthouse there are several public bus stops. Using public bus is easy checking the route planner on their site. Just on the other side of Piazza Santa Croce there is a taxi station, where you can get your cab to anywhere in Florence at honest rates. A car is not necessary to enjoy Florence city center, on the opposite it may also turn a small nuisance.
