Comfy, cozy 1 bedroom apartment w/private entrance in the Thomas Square/Starland district, the coolest, most welcoming neighborhood in Savannah! Everything you need is here for the perfect home-base for your visit. We're a short walk to Forsyth Park, coffee shops, great restaurants, shops, & only 2 miles to River St. Full disclosure: This is a fun & busy part of town with street parking, street noises, & a fire station a few blocks away. Springtide Suite

Springtide Suite is a spacious apartment (1,100sq ft!) that occupies the ground floor of our home located just outside city limits, 17 miles from Tybee and 15-20 minutes from the downtown Historic District. It sleeps six with 1 official bedroom with 2 twin beds. 2 other twin beds and a bunk bed are located in more open common area. Fully equipped kitchen (no dishwasher), large bathroom ( shower only) including laundry room. 3 car parking area directly in front of the Airbnb!

Island Retreat: Quiet and convenient.

This beautiful studio is in a private house on one of Savannah's barrier Islands. It is 12-15 minutes drive to Downtown ( Use Uber to take advantage of downtown Savannah's open container laws) and 10 minutes to the beach at Tybee Island. The room has a small private bath with shower with rain head, a full closet, coffee maker and fridge, vanity table. Mark, co-host, is a retired local guide who can provide information if needed. Farm Getaway

Come and experience the beauty of life on a farm! This beautiful space has its own private exterior entrance off of the picturesque wrap around farmhouse porch and is complete with all the classic and simple farmhouse touches. We are a working livestock farm raising cows, sheep, chicken, ducks, pigs & more. This space is perfect for some outdoor adventure time while still being close to historic downtown Newberry, home of the Newberry Opera House, & not far from Greenville and Columbia.

Starlander Ltd.: The XL Suite, w/ private bath

The Starlander suites are within a 1920s townhouse that's part home (mine), part guest house, part art gallery, and a little bit library (I have a few books). I've travelled to over 70 countries, and my favorite stays were not in hotels, but in small guest houses and hostels with private rooms available. I liked the home-grown character of these places, and the chance to interact with the hosts and other guests. I hope to give others a similar opportunity in Savannah at the Starlander.

A perfect place to have a snack or bottle of wine, rest your head, or watch a movie after a long day of meeting with family and friends, visiting art galleries, paddling or boating on our local waterways, or walking our historic streets.
