Down the U.P. backroads you will find this cottage on a unique peninsula of Thunder Lake. So much to see and do: Near Munising to go see Pic. Rocks Lakeshore (28 miles) and the waterfalls but also near Manistique to visit Big Springs (aka Kitchiti-kippi) a must see and it only approx. 10 miles) and Fayette State park. Enjoy a walk down Manistique’s Boardwalk and view Lake Michigan's breathe taking shoreline. If you enjoy hitting the trails, we have plenty to hike or take your ORVs & snowmobiles down. We sit right across from the trail head leading all over the UP, and are down the road from the pristine Kitch-iti-kipi.

Family Friendly Lakefront Cabin on Gooseneck Lake

Lakeside Loft is a modern, family-friendly cabin located on the shores of Gooseneck Lake in the Hiawatha National Forest. This prime location is a short 40 min drive from the famous Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. Gooseneck Lake is a clean, sand bottom lake; perfect for boating, kayaking, fishing and swimming. Kayaks are available for use during your stay. One dog allowed with a fee. Fee must be paid when reservation is made. Please review the rules before booking.
