Built in the 1700s the Gardener's House is set into the old Walled Garden in the stunning grounds of Arniston House, a William Adam Stately Home. A secluded, picturesque two storey house with wood burning stove for winter or glass patio doors that open onto the walled garden for summer. Curlew Cottage and Free Shepherd's Hut

Curlew Cottage, Meadshaw Farm is remote and peaceful, with stunning views of the rolling hills. It is 9 miles from the Scottish Borders town of Hawick. 1 well behaved dog is welcome. Relax in the cosy cottage, or spend an evening in front of the fire in the lovely, old shepherd's hut. Great local walks, cycle routes, dark skies and peace and quiet await you. The Roman & Reivers Route, a long distance trail, runs past the cottage to the tiny hamlet of Craik and beyond.

The Historic Dalkeith Water Tower

The water tower is a bespoke home in an historic building sensitively converted by its architect owner. The tower is located in the historic town of Dalkeith and the settlement of Eskbank. 20 minutes by car from Edinburgh airport. A bus service into Edinburgh stops every 10- 15 minutes, the bus stop is a 2 minute walk away. 25 minutes by rail to the Scottish Borders or to the centre of Edinburgh from the local Eskbank Train Station, a 20 minute walk from the tower.

Jedburgh is a town and a former Royal Burgh in the Scottish Borders and a traditional county town of the historic county of Roxburghshire. It is 10 miles (16 km) from the Border of England. Jedburgh lies on the A68 between the cities Edinburgh and Newcastle upon Tyne.

Stichill Stables Self Catering

We are within half an hour's drive from the beach and railway stations. You’ll love Stichill Stables because of the views and the peaceful location. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers who have their car. We can also accommodate a child / third person if required. We are in a fairly rural location, the nearest shops, bars and restaurants being approximately four miles away in the town of Kelso in the Scottish Borders.

An Historic Gatehouse on the River Teviot

Perhaps the most ideal holiday cottage in the whole of the Scottish Borders. Situated in a perfect location with one foot close to the hustle and bustle of the heritage town of Hawick and the other with unbridled access to the beautiful Wilton Lodge Park. Entrance Lodge overlooks the Teviot river, with steps right outside the front door to the water's edge where little ones can go feed the ducks.
