Salted Roots Yellow Door Bus

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Our Yellow Door Cabin is a converted 1970s retro bus, with a floating A-frame loft above. It is complete with a kitchenette and detached full bathroom, reading nook, a king bed downstairs, and a master king bedroom upstairs in the vaulted A-frame loft. In the evenings watching the activities on the bay, including wildlife (sea lions, otters, whales, eagles, birds, etc) .

Stay at our wilderness ecolodge located in the Kenai Fjords! We offer oceanfront yurt lodging on our property that is surrounded by the Alaskan wilderness. Activities of sea kayaking and hiking are included! Our secluded location is accessible only by boat from Seward, Alaska. We provide boat transportation for all guests. The boat trip is about 40 minutes each way - look for wildlife like whales, otters, eagles, sea lions, and more! This entire experience is included in your nightly rate.

Oceanfront Inn Private Suite

This lovely studio style suite offers the best view in Seward from the privacy of a sizable covered deck. A queen bed in the main area, and twin mattress in the loft, with kitchenette, and full bathroom with stand up shower. Beach House #1

A quaint cottage a short walk from Lowell Point Beach. The cottage has a bedroom with a queen sized bed, and a private carpeted loft with a queen-sized mattress. The loft has a steep staircase, so not ideal for young children or people with mobility issues. A single futon in the living room brings the total sleeping capacity to 5 people. The kitchen is equipped with pots, pans, dishes and utensils. Guests can enjoy use of the picnic area, with a barbecue grill and fire pit.

Enjoy easy access to everything from this perfectly located home base. Our home is right in the middle of the town of Seward. It is two blocks from the ocean and three blocks from the famous Mount Marathon Trail. It is also a few blocks from downtown and the small boat harbor. Built in 1941, this home has some old house personality like a real wood floor that creaks in places. We do not allow smoking or pets. We also do not have a TV. Please enjoy your stay
