Channel your inner Mark Twain. Read, rock, and relax on the water, at the foot of a retired Northern Pacific Ore dock. The Griffin is a functioning riverboat, driven by paddle wheels, originally modeled after historic Mississippi steamboats. It is located at a mom and pop boat yard, which is quite different from a fancy marina. Work happens here. Metal is welded here. Engines are torn apart and put back together here. Plenty of room to leave your snowmobile trailer at the top of the driveway. The driveway is steep, a 4 wheel drive is recommended in the winter

This modern cabin is located on 390 feet of the beautiful Kettle River. The river is well known for its great tubing, canoeing and kayaking. There is a gas fireplace, hot tub and WiFi. The newer hot tub can seat 6. Large expansive deck with seating. Bon-fire pit and a large gas grill. The cabin is updated and very comfortable. Linens are Pottery Barn and Kitchen Aid appliances! Washer and dryer. Seven acres of woods with deer and bird feeders for the wildlife. This cabin is amazing!!

Marlin's on Minnewawa

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. The house is located on a few acres of land with plenty of room for trailer parking or outside activities. The lake lot is across a small quite road and is only shared between our guests and us. Lake Minnewawa is a wonderful fishing and reactional lake. Our lot is fairly flat for easy walking to and from the lake. Marlin's is located about an hour from Duluth, Brainerd, Grand Rapids and Mora.
