Being located on the AL/ TN line it’s 5 minutes from Interstate 65 ,25 minutes from Huntsville, AL and 1.5 hours to both Birmingham and Nashville .

Welcome, I have just over 20 acres of land, mostly wooded. This has now become an active family farm that requires land and livestock maintenance on a daily, you may hear a bit of noise during daylight hours, unless it’s a holiday weekend when my kids visit, those weekends can get a lot louder. I have been trying to keep my kids quiet for nearly 38 years…..if you’re a parent, you understand. Ha. It’s beautiful here, and your comfort is top priority. Wee Nook is a 360 square foot living space with a full kitchen and bathroom. It is tucked underground in the middle of the woods. Please come enjoy the woods, farm animals, trails, pond and wide open space while you're here! As JRR Tolkien said: “In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit. Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a hobbit-hold, and that means comfort.”

The Trail House is perfectly placed among the trees with many tall windows to take advantage of the gorgeous views. The large 2-tiered deck has two separate sitting areas. Hike, bike, cave, kayak, fish, swim at the base of the waterfalls or sit and relax. Do it all, do absolutely nothing, or a little of both here at the Trail House. This glass and wood elevated cabin sits beneath giant Oak trees and above mossy boulders. The small single room does not have a bathroom or kitchen. A common area with an outdoor kitchen and bathhouse is less than a minute walk away. The approximately 250 square foot cabin has Oak hard wood floors, ceiling fan, mini fridge and Bluetooth speaker. It is well insulated and stays comfortable even in mid summer without AC.
