This beautifully renovated home sits on 5.5 acres with an acre pond. Conveniently located near I-55 & I-12 and about 5 min. from S.L.U. & downtown Hammond. Harper's Haven is about 30 min from Baton Rouge & about 45 minutes from downtown New Orleans. Sleeps 6, offering a King size bed, & 2 Queen beds. The kitchen is fully equipped including a Keurig. There is also a laundry room with a washer/dryer & utility sink. Enjoy grilling or relaxing on the patio, or fishing and kayaking in the pond.

The Gator Getaway

The Gator Getaway is the perfect escape from reality located in the swampy town of Manchac, Louisiana. It is the ideal place for a stay near the water with no boat required! The historic building was the original Church of Manchac and was remodeled into a home. Located within walking distance to the famous Middendorf's Restaurant! Also nearby is the public boat launch, Sun Buns river bar boat taxi, and other local favorite spots! Located about 40 miles outside of New Orleans.

Hobbit House

Please read detailed description of property before booking. Set in a 22 acre parcel on the Natalbany River 6.5 miles from downtown Hammond. Enjoy nature with a walk along the trail from house to river. This building has been built with mostly reclaimed, reused and upcycled materials. The rustic interior walls are clad in huge boards milled on the property after Katrina damage. Note the unusual shower with handmade tiles. There are other unique structures on property.

Just 2 miles from I-55 and 6.5 miles from southeastern, and downtown Hammond, 51 miles from MSY airport, 64 miles from downtown New Orleans, and 53 miles from downtown Baton Rouge.

Downtown-King Bed-Pool-Hot Tub

This is a new apartment on the first floor with private entrance and covered parking. Guest have access to a pool, hot tub, sauna, patio and grill. There are tables, chairs, lounge chairs and swings around the pool area. We are with in 3 minutes from all of downtown Hammond and 2 minutes to Southeastern Louisiana University. We are only 45 minutes to New Orleans, 18 minutes to Mandeville/Covington and 35 minutes to Baton Rouge.

This home is a quaint, waterfront oasis, with space to enjoy friends and family inside or outside. It is just minutes by foot, car and/or boat to restaurants, bars and many water events. With prior notification to host you may have full access to onsite boat slip. Depending on size of boats slip can host up to 2 boats at one time. Come and see why this is OUR happy place, and it could quickly become your happy place.

For two guests, you'll find the coziest queen bed and a rain shower in a rustic tub. Our quaint little nature cranny is the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee.
