The Nurseries Grevisk

The Nurseries is c200 years old and was once the home of the head gardener to the Rockingham Estate. It was later owned by the McGahern family and is referred to in some of John McGahern's writings. Family home in the heart of Roscommon town. Hanons hotel is round the corner for meals/drinks. Roscommon town is an easy walk of 1.5k. Roscommon Community Hospital is directly opposite the property. Toys and swings are available for children to play with and a sheltered shed with a climbing wall/ Table Tennis in case of rain. The house has a heat recovery ventilation system, solar panels, solar heated hot water, Infrared Sauna and Electric Vehicle Charger. Excellent WiFi.

The Cottage

Beautifully renovated Rural cottage, Located 15 minutes from Roscommon town and 20 minutes from Castlerea. This is a cosy house, fully insulated, with central heating complemented by a solid fuel stove, with kindling, turf and firewood provided for your convenience to provide cosy evenings as the night draws to a close and you unwind for the evening. Ideally located for fishing- river Suck 10minutes away and facilities on site for preparation including locked shed.

The Herd House Cottage

Our cosy 150 year old stone cottage in the heart of Roscommon is the perfect base for exploring the countryside, or just retreating into the tranquility in the stunning natural surroundings of our farm. Due to Covid-19 it is a minimum stay of 2nights, with one night blocked before and after each reservation to ensure everyones safety. There is a wide range of fun activities to explore and see in the nearby areas for all to enjoy.
