Sunset house in Hydra

Our parents build this wonderful house in the traditional architecture of Hydra. The house is located in the picturesque fisherman's harbour of Kamini, more quiet and peaceful compared to the lively and cosmopolitan port of Hydra. It is 15 min walk from the central port of Hydra (along a scenic road next to the sea) or 3 min by water taxi. The house is only 90 steps(usually are more than 200) from the Kamini sea side road but the spectacular view from the terrace make it worth the effort.

Paradise On Earth

The house is Located just about the Avlaki beach and 7-10 minutes walk from the harbor of the port. It is surrounded by a garden of 4000 square meters with great vegetation, olive, lemon and orange trees as well as a variety of aromatic herbs. It can accommodate 2 adults and a young child, if needed. Breakfast preparation facilities are available in the house, which has no kitchen. There is a ceiling fan in the house. Excellent restaurants and tavern are located in walking distance.

The villa boasts four double bedrooms with en-suite marble bathrooms, a fully appointed kitchen, large living room, outside and inside dinning area and a guest half bathroom. Every room shares breathtaking panoramic views and smart tvs, ceiling fans, safes, large wardrobes. Outside you can enjoy a private large pergola/lounge area, sun chairs and a very large terrace with beautiful open views.

The house is detached, quiet, a bit high up on the hillside in an authentic and preserved environment. You will be dazzled by the extraordinary view of the sea. It is surrounded by olive trees, two lemon trees and a fig tree. Its two terraces, each with its own shaded pergola, offer a beautiful 180° view of the sea and the neighbouring hills.
