Hayloft at The Stables

A 2 bedroom first floor flat with kitchen, cosy living area, and bathroom, above our home on the ground floor. You share our front door, but access the flat through a door to the stairs immediately on entering the hall. Sleeps 4. Bedrooms are in the eaves, so have restricted head room in places. Excellent broadband. It was the hayloft above an old carriage house. A peaceful setting in pretty village, with a pub, a short drive to Diss. We live on the ground floor. Large garden, good parking.

The Old Dairy, a rural Norfolk hideaway

For over a hundred years, this characterful old dairy was where the cows were milked at Hawthorn Farm. Sympathetically and luxuriously converted into a two-bedroom cottage in 2017, it is self-contained and completely detached. Inside, original walls, beams and vaulted ceilings give it a spacious, airy feel. It has its own fully-equipped kitchenette, and a bathroom with a large shower, WC and basin. The spacious 18 x 14 foot carpeted living space has two huge comfy sofas and a table and chairs.

Postal Lodge - our one-off wooden shack…

This is our wooden shack, hidden away in our little corner of Norfolk. Stay here and share some of the country idyll that we love. This is a peaceful, remote position, and we treasure the space, nature and peace we’re surrounded by - and hope you will too. The Shack has been built, fitted and furnished using up-cycled, re-cycled, reclaimed, new, old, vintage, shabby, retro, re-purposed or anything different or quirky. We’re constantly adding to it. No telly. Limited WiFi. Time out, guaranteed.

Surrounded by nature reserves, Chandos Lodge is a retreat, based on the principle of respect for nature and all who visit. Newly built in a tranquil setting, the light-filled, open-plan lodge has three double bedrooms (Standard Double bed) + room with (Double) sofa bed (all en suite with showers and 2 also with baths), underfloor heating and a balcony terrace with panoramic views. Amenities include; Wifi, TV, integrated log burner, bluetooth, BBQ, games. (Please note policy re. children)

Green Dragon Cottage

Green Dragon Cottage is set in a quiet backroad just North of Diss (10 minutes), sitting at the gateway to the picturesque Waveney Valley. The cottage sleeps up to five guests and is created from former stables and blacksmiths forge. The conversion retains many historic features including wooden beams and pamment tiles, yet with modern amenities including WiFi and underfloor heated bathroom. The cottage has a private entrance, parking and is ideal for families, sat in our peaceful 3.5 acres.

Annex next to a field

A quiet, spacious self-contained annex, well suited for local sightseeing, work or relaxing. It connects to our family home, but has a private entrance (wheelchair friendly) and ample off street parking. There is one bedroom and a sofa bed in the living area. It has wi-fi, a smart tv with Sky & regular channels. You may see our 2 friendly dogs & cats, but they won’t come into your space. It looks out over a paved patio, but this area is for our personal use, as it’s our dogs’ playground.

Our luxurious accommodation is an idyllic get away for those who want the peace and beauty of the Norfolk countryside and to wake up to the sound of birdsong , you may not want to get out of the sumptuous bed and take your head off the goose down pillows that envelope you as you sleep peacefully, is it the draw of the landscape that gets you out of bed or maybe the passing horses out in the fresh morning air inviting you to leave that luxurious bed and take fresh coffee on the terrace

Welcome to Apple Tree Cottage, a delightful retreat situated in the rural charm of Old Buckenham, Norfolk. Surrounded by picturesque countryside in a hamlet setting and newly renovated, Apple Tree Cottage is the perfect weekend getaway, offering a great base to explore beautiful Norfolk. The cottage is suited for up to three adults, with the option of a trundle bed to sleep a fourth for short stays. Furry friends are always welcome, we just ask that they are not left alone at the cottage.

There is a separate bedroom, bathroom & a second seating area which can be converted to a small double bed upon request.

You can even say hello to our other residents; the Norfolk horn sheep, highland cows, and Riley our cockador!

The Old Forge 6

The Old Forge is a delightful semi-detached cottage. The cottage is set in the peaceful village of Brome, in the Suffolk countryside on the Norfolk/Suffolk border. The Old Forge has its own private garden and parking for two cars. There are three bedrooms. Bedroom 1 and two are on the first floor, one with a kingsize bed and one with twin single beds. Bedroom three is ground floor also with a kingsize. The ground floor offers a kitchen/diner, bathroom, lounge and storage.
