It’s also just a short 10 minute drive to the Taronga Western Plains Zoo.

Caroo Cottage

The Caroo cottage is a well built shack that provides all the necessities that you'll need. From grabbing a cuppa to fishing down on the banks with the kids, it really reveals nature in the best way. From the sunrise to the sunset. Shower and toilet are external access only. It has access to wifi for all your technology needs. Pets are aloud but they are NOT ALLOWED INSIDE THE COTTAGE OR BATHROOM!!! If you would like fishing rods please advise in a message. Enquire for early check in!

You’ll love my place because its located in a quaint village where you can unwind, go for walks, eat in or out or enjoy visiting Shoyen Gardens, Zoo, Wellington Caves, live show (DRTCC) or the cultural centre. You could be wanting somewhere special to stay for a night, a few days weeks or months. The cottage has all modern comforts & is a contemporary interior. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families and business travellers. Pet fee $15 per pet / per night.

Tranquil Country Haven

Our place is the best of both worlds; with it's quiet, peaceful charm and yet still only minutes to town, to enjoy cafes, attractions and shops. Continental breakfast is included. This spacious suite contains bedroom, lounge, kitchen, study, bath, shower and separate toilet and also outdoor alfresco dining. The birds sing constantly and there's no shortage of walking trails. Plenty of parking, smart TV , reverse cycle plus ceiling fans, and a great book and DVD library.

The Ponderosa Farm Stay

Enjoy the sounds of nature when you stay in this unique place. We have 120 aces of mainly farming land with horses , chickens , cats and dogs. If you like fishing then you are welcome to catch a few on the Macquarie river which is on the property. Our horses are all trotters who are all trained here on our track. The accommodation is fully fenced and we are pet friendly. We do prefer dogs to stay outside and are definitely not to be left unattended inside the tiny house.

The freestanding bath, well-equipped kitchen, and Hamptons-inspired interiors round out a comfortable and easy stay.

Our rustic cabin is located at Billy'O Bush Retreat, Wongarbon. Set on 250 acres of farm and bushland, we are only 15 mins from Dubbo and its attractions. Our cabin offers fantastic views, modern conveniences, and rustic charm. Split-system AC and heating, stone kitchen and vanity tops. Microwave, fridge plus an outside BBQ and sink. Front and back verandah's to relax or dine on, LCD TV, ceiling fans, polished floors and timber feature walls and benches.
