Our farm is about 6 MI south of Hampton on a working farm. There is mile of gravel to get to our farm that is well maintained. We offer a guest house with 2 bedrooms. One has king bed and the other has a queen bed with single bunk above it. We also upon request provide single mattresses for extra guests. Large bathroom with shower and soaking tub. Complete kitchen. Coffee and bottled water provided. Our place has large outdoor area for lawn games and picnics. Great for family gatherings.

Located on a beautiful homestead in the 'Bohemie Alps.' Walk up the hill to our 24' yurt, set with beautiful views overlooking the farm and Iowa countryside. Furnished with 2 full/queen beds, pull out couch, clean linens and towels. Set up with electricity and temp control. A true glamping experience in the heartland. The entire first floor including master bedroom bathroom, kitchen, dining room and deck are handicap accessible . we have a game room 3 big screen tvs fast internet ,basketball and hoop, with a fire pit in back for smores hotdogs and great family time around the fire .Relax with the whole family at this peaceful ,quiet private place to stay. We have 6 beds 2 sofas and sleeps 14 comfortably. We have deer almost nighty in views, often on the grounds. Lots of off road parking. COME SEE US

This recently renovated home has new furniture and stainless steel appliances. There is a ramp and deck leading to the double French door entry. Home is 1 block from downtown stores, banks, restaurants and a nice coffee shop. The home has two bedrooms...one with a king bed and the other a queen. Views from the kitchen and dining area overlook the Iowa river. There is one full bath with walk in shower. There is a partial bath with toilet, vanity and washer/dryer.

On We Go

Step out the back door to immediately enjoy the sights and sounds of the Shell Rock River. Located one block off Greene Main Street. Easily walk to the local bar and restaurant, get coffee or fresh baked goods! Grocery store, pool, park, golf simulator, ice cream, doctors office and pharmacy are all 1-2 blocks away. Open concept living with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. Public boat ramp 2 blocks away and you can dock your boat at our dock while you stay!

Cabin Cove By the River

Take a step back in time when you enter our little log cabin by the river. Built in 1949, this cabin is a replica of the log cabins built by the gold seekers of Alaska. Though modern in most aspects we have retained the native charm of unfinished wood, rough, hand-hewn logs and naked beams. The inspiration for the cabin was found by my great grandfather who spent time in Alaska working on the Alcan highway.

Your group will enjoy this large 2 story home for families, big groups or couples. There is even enough room to park a camper if needed. The large backyard has a winding path through the trees leading to the Ira Nichols wildflower and bird refuge or you can just meander on the path enjoying the birds singing, scampering squirrels, or occasional rabbits.
