Little Round Cabin on the Pine 2 - The "Pine Cone"

The 250 square foot "Pine Cone" is a one room, round yurt-style cabin located on our 8 acre property. We border the Pine River in Richland County, center of the beautiful Driftless region of southwest Wisconsin. Perfect for a quiet, nature-based retreat, we are less than four hours drive from Chicago, Milwaukee, and the Twin Cities. A wonderful HQ for exploring the natural beauty of Driftless Wisconsin. Plenty of hiking, skiing, breweries, wineries, and agri-tourism.

This waterfront cottage has beautiful views of the Wisconsin River. My husband and I have lived here for more than 20 years. We love this area - there is nothing like a cool, crisp Midwest morning overlooking the Wisconsin River. Or enjoying a great glass of wine (or Wisconsin beer) while watching a spectacular summer sunset from the deck. Expect peace and tranquility as we are far enough from Downtown Dells to avoid the crowds and noise. We look forward to hosting you and your loved ones.

The cabin has electricity, supplied water and a non chemical port-o-let, a heater, wood stove (we supply all indoor wood), fire pit and charcoal grill. Our Bakery is open Saturday-Sunday 9-4, May -October or order in advance off season. Short walk from parking to the cabin; we will transport your gear if needed. Enjoy our trails! LGBTQ owned. Welcome to my home - Orchard Prairie Air B&B! This unique space was built by an amateur pilot, "MacGyver-Type," Renaissance Man roughly 30 years ago. It is set on 38 acres of pristine Wisconsin Land and is perfect for nature lovers and "Glampers" looking for the great outdoors with the comforts of home. It is a "rustic-industrial" oasis in the heart of South Central Wisconsin, steps from Devils Lake and miles from Baraboo and the Wisconsin Dells.
