The Wilderness Cabin in Calagno is a unique destination not suitable for everybody: electric power is generated by a solar panel but with a small battery so if it's not sunny you could easily run out of electricity; the only way to reach the Cabin is to walk on a trail for 1.45/2h from the Falmenta parking area. But for those who are looking for a deep wilderness experience, this is the best choice to go for! Nature, only nature.

The cozy studio inside can accommodate 4 guests (1 bedroom and 1 sleeping couch). It is equipped with a coffee/thee corner and fridge. Have lunch at Tirlindana (3min walk), grab a coffee at Max's Bar (1min walk), soak up the sun at Sala Beach (1min walk) and take the boatferry (4min walk) to visit. The Little sweet house is settled in a perfect spot, wich allowed you to admire mountains, little towns, and of course the beautiful lake. Only 15 minutes from Varenna by car, and less that 5 minutes from Bellano by car (2 of the lake's ferry's station).
