Dive into the plunge pool with sweeping views of the Mediterranean Sea. For adventurous travelers who will appreciate the 10-minute panoramic walk to the house (we will transport your luggage and groceries by tractor). The magical view of the world below with the coast on the horizon which can be enjoyed from every room of the house and from the entire olive orchard with its walking paths and plunge pool with waterfall. Being a pedestrian village, Metato is quiet and peaceful. Yet, the beach and many great places to visit are a short drive away- Pisa, Florence, Lucca, the marble quarries of Cararra, Pietrasanta, Viareggio.... Guests have exclusive access to the pool and property. Metato is a friendly litttle village in the hills overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. There is a quaint family-run restaurant in the village that serves local homemade dishes at a very reasonable price. Our pedestrian village tends to attract kind people in search of peace and quiet and a proximity with nature. Time seems to go by more slowly here. It is a perfect base for families who want to explore Tuscany and the beaches of the Versilia coast. The home is in a beautiful, quiet location on a hill surrounded by olive orchards and vineyards just a 10-minute walk from the parking lot. Explore the medieval village of Metato where fireflies and breathtaking views await. Take an invigorating hike or head to the beaches a short drive away. There is a parking lot at the base of the village where you can park the car. The village itself is pedestrian but I am happy to greet guests at the parking lot on their arrival to transport their luggage, groceries and whoever wants to ride to the house with my little Italian tractor! The nearest airport is Pisa (45-minutes by car). All the major car rental places can be found there. The nearest train station is Viareggio.

Modern cottage with garden and pool in Tuscany

The cottage is an ancient olive oil mill dates back to XVIII century completely restored and modernised situated in Nocchi, a cute village inhabited from many English people and set in the Tuscany hills nearby historic city as Camaiore (famous to be a via Francigena’s stop-over), Pietrasanta, in which live and work many artists known all over the world like Fernando Botero, Lucca (notorious for its intact walls) and Pisa (the ceiling tower town). Besides, Nocchi is close to seaside cities as Viareggio (famous for its carnival) and Forte dei Marmi. The cottage is very big (130 square meters) and is divided on two floors: on the ground floor there is a big living room open space composed by kitchen and relax zone, while on the first floor there are a small, but functioning bathroom with shower, a laundry room, and two large bedrooms, which one provides inside of another bathroom with shower. The property also has a private parking and two independent ingresses. Next to the cottage, and always part of the property, there is a wonderful common garden (3000 square metres) in which is placed a wonderful swimming pool provided of beach chairs and beach umbrellas where you can relax yourself.

Si trova nella prima collina di Camaiore a 9 Km dal mare della Versilia e a 25 m di macchina dalla bellissima città di Lucca. Un territorio naturalmente predisposto al "bien vivre" grazie ad un'armonica combinazione fra natura, cultura e buon cibo.Vicina alle città d'arte più iconiche: Pisa, Firenze, Siena, Le 5 Terre, le Alpi Apuane, Pietrasanta

Consuma i tuoi pasti sotto la splendida veranda vista mare utilizzando il comodo barbecue o forno a legna adiacenti alla casa. La piscina intex 2x4m ti regalerà bagni rinfrescanti con i tuoi amici e familiari.

Casa Giulio

An old stone house hidden in an olive grove with a sea view, where no car ever passes. Tuscan countryside in every direction — pure peace and quiet. The house is not easily accessible by car, so on the day of arrival and departure we will personally transport your luggage directly to the door. We are also happy to arrange your first grocery shopping in advance, delivered to the house. It is approximately 500 metres on foot from the parking area to the house. The sea is 20 minutes by car.

Le Casette si trova a circa 600m s.l.m. immersa nella quiete di un autentico piccolo borgo in alta collina sopra Metato, con vista mozzafiato che va dalle Apuane al mare. Gli ultimi 1,5 km sono un percorso panoramico, stretto e ripido nel verde, percorribile solo con auto 4x4 compatte, proprio per questo qui troverai pace assoluta. Per la tua comodità il proprietario mette a disposizione una Fiat Panda 4x4, da utilizzare esclusivamente dalla casa al parcheggio di Metato e viceversa.

La villa si trova sulla collina di Montemagno, un piccolo paese vicino alla città di Camaiore, al mare della Versilia e città storiche come Lucca, Pisa e Firenze. E' un casale dell’800 recentemente ristrutturato rispettando le caratteristiche storiche con travi in legno e pavimenti in cotto. La villa è immersa in oliveti e vigneti e dispone di una piscina (12x6) con acqua salata, un luogo tranquillo dove trascorrere una vacanza in tranquillità.

There is a place a few steps away from the famous Versilia (Tuscany) called Borgo Metato Toscana. Here various structures have been designed by the Architect Stefano Viviani, who has realized In each of them, a very refined style respectful to the place. Il Borgo di Metato is surrounded by olive trees, lots of green spaces and there are some donkeys for the joy of children. PANORAMA is part of this place.
