The Spruce Nest

Stay in a historic home in Old Town Steamboat Springs built 1907. We have added an entry, dining room, master bedroom and bath and powder bath. However, we have kept the original two-story home in tact, similar to the early 1900's. We even used original wood from the walls to accent the exterior. Full of history, this little mining town has a museum, beautiful park with creek running through, multiple restaurants, an ice rink, grocery, drug, recreational stores and more. Great views and access to the Flat Top Wilderness, Stagecoach State Park, Routt MedBow, etc. You’ll love this place because of the location, the price and the comfort. Cabin on Sweetwater Creek

This is a simple cabin-home is located 7 miles up from the Colorado river on Sweetwater Creek. Three more miles up the road is Sweetwater Lake and the jump off area for the White River National Forest and the Flat Tops Wilderness area. Glenwood Springs is 32 miles down creek/river. Great access to hiking, floating, biking (Glenwood Canyon) and hunting, or best yet relaxing next to a beautiful creek. Brink's Outfitters at Sweetwater Lake has horses and guides for riding.

An authentic, rustic, ga s fireplace heated, log cabin with modern amenities. The cabin has a furnished kitchen/dining area, living room, bathroom and two bedrooms. There is a nice covered deck with outdoor seating and plenty of sunlight. The cabin backs up to Zirkel National Forest and the Elk River flows right across the road. The Evergreen Cabin is a perfect setting for a quiet getaway. There is Wi-Fi in the cabin and a small tv that you can stream from or watch dvds.

Adjacent to Routt National Forest and the Zirkel Wilderness. Nestled in the aspen and pines with private trails for hiking, biking, xc ski and snowshoe. 4wd or AWD preferred travel in winter. The Marmots, will often make an appearance. Wildlife abounds, moose, deer, elk pronghorn, bear, wolf and fox as well as many species of bird call this special place home. The spacious deck overlooks the forest and the mountains as well as the warm water ponds.
