President Jefferson stayed here many times and was a lifelong friend of our original Colonial family. We are sure this would have been his room on visits. This expansive upstairs suite has a private staircase and features two queen-size beds, antiques, refinished original pine floors, wing back chairs, an Oriental rug and an adjacent sitting area with in-room Wi-Fi. The en suite bathroom is but a few steps from the bedroom and features a soaking tub and shower. The upstairs porch is only steps away, offering spectacular mountain views and fantastic sunsets.

Only steps from the manor house, Rapidan has a wood-burning fireplace that creates an aura of romance in this historic dependency, perfect for your next romantic Virginia getaway. This lovely room is furnished with antiques and a queen cherry four-poster bed. Oak floors and hand-hewn beamed ceiling add to the original Colonial nature of this charming room with private bath. Beautiful Blue Ridge Mountain vistas are just outside. This is a pet friendly room with in-room Wi-Fi.
