The cabin is less than a mile away from designated ORV and snowmobile trails where you can access the trails within minutes. It is also within miles from local boat launches to access beautiful Lake Superior and enjoy all it has to offer.

You will think of this 3 bedroom 2 bath house on the lake as your home away from home. Summer brings water sports, grilling and eating on the deck and enjoying sunsets over the lake. Winter months include accessing snowmobile trails from your front door, nearby downhill and cross country ski venues and snowshoeing. Curl up by a crackling fire at days end. Spring brings day trips to beautiful waterfalls. Fall brings hunting to mind. Plenty of wooded areas for bird and deer hunting.

Chocolay River Cabin

Small hand hewn log cabin on Chocolay River. Good fishing, approximately 5 miles from snowmobile and ORV trails. Full kitchen. 1 BR (Q), Full sofa sleeper and 1 bath. Outdoor electric sauna. A fire pit. Washer/dryer. Basic amenities. Full kitchen. There is WiFi but cell service can be very sketchy. Texting does seem to work ok. We do have a cell phone booster there but it still isn’t great. If you need to make a call you can drive about 1 mile out to US 41 and service is good.

Laughing Whitefish River Retreat

Ride Trail 417 (quick legal access and toy hauler parking at lodge). Stay on the Laughing Whitefish River minutes from the beaches of Lake Superior in a spacious log home. This forested setting is halfway between Munising and Marquette. Ideal base to explore the cities, trails and lakes in the area. Fully furnished rental with stocked kitchen, jacuzzi tub, riverside patio, fire ring on 56 quiet acres. Owner lives in lower level apartment with a separate entrance.
