Marked trails weave around the property for early morning coffee walk or a moonlit snowshoe - courtesy snowshoes are available for guests. Deer frequent the property as well.

Staying in a Strawbale home is a special experience! The thick adobe walls create a cozy and warm feeling that a traditional stick built home just can’t. Enjoy the vaulted ceilings, heated floors, new appliances and natural sunlight. Backyard, fire pit and gas grill as well as outdoor eating space. The view from the kitchen looks out on a private pond and local historic (retired) Rio Grande Railroad bridge. Some scenes from the movie Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid were shot by this bridge!

Little Sis'....a sweet retreat (town minutes away)

This pristine little Scandinavian D-log cabin sits on over 2 quiet wooded acres a brief 5-minute drive from uptown Pagosa (our more commercial area with nicer grocery store, dining, brewery, Walmart, etc) and about 10 minutes to the springs (downtown). Your experience is enhanced with a gas grill, outdoor seating/dining table, fully outfitted kitchen, and even a clearing for campfire and stargazing. Deer and wild turkeys are frequent visitors. One 30 and 50 volt amp plug in for campers. The panoramic nature view and relaxing visit will make you want to come back again guaranteed! It is the perfect getaway!

Our beautiful mountain home is nestled between Durango and Pagosa Springs Colorado. Whether you are looking for a quite, private and secluded vacation spot or a home between two local ski resorts (Purgatory and Wolf Creek) this home offers the best of both worlds. This is also a great hunting spot, less than a quarter mile walk to public hunting property held by BLM. You can walk right out the door and hike, snow shoe, or sled down the driveway. We are not present when the home is occupied.

You will love this Log Cabin Tiny House in Rural setting. Nice porch for morning coffee while watching the sunrise. Occasionally deer and quail will wander through. The fire pit and the hot tub increase the enjoyment the evenings under the stars. If you want to leave, Aztec is 10 minutes or Durango only 30. Tico Time is 10 minutes. House is stocked with condiments, spices, coffee, a pancake breakfast, wifi, cozy couch and loveseat, smart TV, queen bed, full bed and peaceful surroundings!
