Our off-the-grid, solar-powered cottage is nestled within our 18 acres in the town of Washington, Maine. The cottage borders a beautiful stream, is surrounded by tall pines and is several hundred feet away from our home, providing a very private and serene experience. Guests can wander or snowshoe on our property, relax in the screen house next to the cottage or hang by the accessible fire pit. We are close to many local lakes and hiking trails and only 30 minutes from Camden & Rockland.

Messalonskee Lake is part of the Belgrade Lakes chain and is one of the most popular for swimming, boating, water skiing and fishing. The cedar log camp accommodates family, friends and small gatherings. Sandy waterfront is perfect for non-swimmers. Swimming float for advanced. We provide a canoe and kayak for guest use. This is a lovely cozy camp on Pleasant Pond. Public boat access makes it a popular lake for boating and bass fishing. The camp has dock and swim float for water fun and cool breezes from the lake make it a lovely place to be in the summer. Winter time the lake accommodates ice fishing and snowmobilers. The cabin sleeps four in bedrooms and two in the loft. Get away from it all with NO wifi or television to distract from the recreational activities.
