Locally -Soda Springs Resort, Donner Ski Ranch, Royal Gorge, Sugar Bowl and Boreal. Squaw Valley and Alpine and Northstar are half an hour away

Come enjoy everything the mountains have to offer during the winter. Expect tons of charm in this rustic, "old Kingvale" cabin. Accommodates 4-6 comfortably. A great cabin for a couple (or two couples) or small family, with easy access to great hiking and mountain biking trails in the summer. In the winter, there is a sledding hill and miles of snowshoe trails out the back door. Four ski resorts are within ten minutes' drive. The deck is the perfect place to watch the bountiful stars in the clear mountain air any time of year. Please read the notes about winter conditions, especially the driveway, very carefully.

You can also just relax while reading a good book, skipping rocks or just dip your toes in the water.
