In a private setting, this cabin has all the amenities you would want in a weekend getaway (or longer!). The cabin is situated on a working farm, surrounded by agricultural farmland. The host home is on property (see photo). Enjoy scenic views, take your breakfast on the screened-in porch or back deck, and gaze at the crystal clear starry sky - all in this rural paradise!

Oakbrook Akers Lakeside Cabin Retreat

Located in the heart of the country, Oakbrook Akers Cabin is an absolute retreat! Relax on the many porches overlooking the pond, take time to meander to the dock to fish, enjoy s'mores over the stone fire pit or spend the evening at the grilling station in our covered patio. In the winter, tuck yourself away in the cozy cabin complete with a wood burner, having a movie or game night (with popcorn of course)! Located only 8 miles from Deer Ridge Conservation Area this recently renovated trailer is perfect for hunters! Sleeps 4 with two bedrooms -one with a queen size bed, and one with a full and twin bed. There is one full bathroom with a tub and shower, full kitchen, washer and dryer, and living room with a couch that can also be used as a sleeping area.
