The house sits within minutes of The Hoosier National Forest offering hiking / fishing and a peaceful atmosphere, 50 minutes from Holiday World, and 55 minutes from French Lick. House is located in a gated, private community with a 320 acre lake up to 70 ft deep. Only pontoon boats and fishing boats permitted, ensuring a quiet lake experience and wake-free dock sitting. Two kayaks, canoe, paddle board and some basic fishing equipment for guest use. Pontoon rental by owner - separate contract.

Cira 1890 The Oswell Wright home features a Historic Marker that tells the story of the Brandenburg Affair, There are 2 bedrooms and 1 bath located on the second floor so must be able to use stairs. The kitchen & living room are on the first floor. This home is located 2 blocks from downtown historic Corydon, shopping & dinning. The gas is shut off to cook stove and oven for safety. You are welcome to use the wood burning fire pit at the back of yard.

We so enjoyed sitting on the screened porch in the bed swing, enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The house is well equipped and so comfortable. We appreciated that pets were allowed.
