Charming Hillside Country Home

This beautiful mid-century house was designed and built by my father. My husband’s parents, Amy and Bob, bought it from my parents’ estate and renovated it. It is filled with light, books and original art. Being inside feels like being outside. It is furnished much as it was when my in-laws moved out, with many of Amy’s paintings. It is not a new or fancy house, but it is authentic and quite a splendid example of mid-century architecture! I hope that you love it as much as I love to share it!

Enjoy this beautiful spacious home designed by local architect Thomas Walgamuth. Located on a quiet 2 acre lot. Just mins from Purdue campus and downtown Lafayette. This 4,256-square foot, 3-level home boasts 3 bedrooms with queen beds upstairs, a recreation area with 2 daybeds downstairs, a sleeper sofa, 2 full kitchens, a deck off the sunroom, and a deck off the master bedroom. The home is secluded at the edge of a small town and is bordered by a creek. Hillsboro has a dinner theater and cafe. Turkey Run and Shades State Parks are nearby as are Wabash College and Purdue University. Easy access to Interstate 74. Firepit, wood and charcoal grill on site.

Cottage on Lake Holiday

This well appointed, nicely finished, heated & cooled, home on Lake Holiday is a great place to get away. Only 15 minutes to Shades State Park & 20 minutes to Turkey Run. In the primary house is a queen bed, air mattress, & 2 full bathrooms. The bunkhouse has 2 queen beds. Please note bunkhouse is detached from the primary house. Guests will have to briefly walk outside to access a bathroom. The outdoor shower is not operable October through April. Lake access is not available for guests.

Heavenly Acres Farm and Learning Center

Experience a relaxing stay, spending time watching chickens happily foraging or barn animals as they graze in the pasture. Take a walk by the creek, taking in the country sunset.Enhance your experience by interacting with the animals during a farm tour or helping with daily chores. We also offer a variety of learning opportunities as we share how we process fiber, health care for animals or maybe a simple hay ride. Mimi's Country Cottage

Quaint, quiet and cozy cottage set in a tranquil park like setting with all the amenities of home. Ten minutes to Shades State Park and twenty minutes to Turkey Run State Park. A great place to stay for the Covered Bridge Festival. 15 minutes to Wabash College, 25 minutes to DePauw University, 45 minutes to Purdue. We live on site and our back door is approximately 600 ft. from from the Airbnb. At this time we do not allow pets. We clean the cottage in accordance with CDC guidelines.
