Antique furnishings perfectly complement the historic architecture. The house is on 3 floors so a fair bit of walking up and down stairs is required. The main bedroom is on the upper floor and the 2nd bedroom (two single beds) and bathroom on the lowest floor. Ideal for couples and families but not for the elderly or groups of 4 adults.

Villa Benè is the perfect starting point for exploring the area, which is full of charming places such as the Hermitage of Santa Caterina del Sasso and the Borromean Islands. You arrive by boat. No road, no car, no traffic — just a red cottage on the water in a village that time forgot, and the boat is yours for the whole stay (no licence needed). Two bedrooms, a fireplace, a covered terrace over the lake, and a garden of old trees with a wood-fired pizza oven and BBQ. Kayak and paddleboard included. A full briefing on arrival, and we're a message away for anything. This isn't a resort. It's the lake, your own boat, and your own pace.
