Welcome to our “bakhuisje”: a national monument from +- 1700. The house is cozy and comfortable; living downstairs, bed is upstairs on the mezzanine. It has a cozy electric fireplace and a comfy couch. The bathroom has everything needed. Kitchenette (without cooking) with small fridge + coffee/tea and a beautiful view (vegetable garden, greenhouse, fruit trees). Of course WiFi and a workplace. Beautiful surroundings for walking/cycling and a small sandy beach in the river at 2 minutes walking.

Villa Forestier, a beautiful villa situated in one of the oldest forests of the Netherlands. This atmospheric house is ideal for guests who are looking for a peaceful stay. Close to the charming center of Breda, Etten-Leur or Prinsenbeek. The forest, named Liesbos, has been owned by the royal family. They also used this place for the hunt. Welkom op ‘de Hoogt’ in Oud Alblas, een monumentale boerderij in de Alblasserwaard. U kunt op ‘de Hoogt’ overnachten in onze b&b. Op ons terrein staat ‘Huisje op de terp’ die we hebben omgetoverd in een prachtig huisje, waar we zelf tijdens de verbouwing van de boerderij ruim twee jaar met veel plezier in gewoond hebben. ‘ Huisje op de terp’ is een 4 pers. huisje met douche, toilet, keuken en 2 slaapkamers. Ontbijt is optioneel bij te boeken.

If you are a Nederlander or if you are planning to make a trip to the Netherlands, a visit to Kinderdijk should not be missed. It is fantastic to live near to the monumental windmills. The house is rented without a garden, but from inside or out on the balcony you will have stunning views of the mills.
