A farmhouse suite welcomes you! Enjoy a stay in a large private guest suite on the 2nd floor of our historic farmhouse. You'll enjoy a relaxed haven that feels like the country, inside the city! Only 5 minutes from shopping, parks, trails, restaurants, library and 15 minutes from downtown. Enjoy park-like setting, use of pool during Summer (shared), and large yard. 2nd bedroom available for add'l $. We will rotate pool use if other guests are here. No pool parties. Queen bed & 85'TV w/full bath. Two XL twin size beds & 75' TV w/full bath, living room 85’TV and much more. REQUIRED: For reservation approval; Please review complete set of 26 house rules under “House Rules” then “additional house rules”. Guest agreement to all 26 house rules is required for reservation approval from me.

The Homestead

The Homestead has been in our family for over 170 years. This ranch style farmhouse was built in the early 1960's. This Homestead is located on 40 acres, with over an acre here with the home. The Homestead features 3 bedrooms, 1.5 bath, with an open area to the living, kitchen, and dining area. The house is partially carpeted and ceramic tile, and is fully furnished including the kitchen. This is located out in the country surrounded by farm fields, so very peaceful and private.

Cheerful 2 Bedroom Cottage on 5th in Decatur IN

Quaint cottage style 2 bedroom home located in the downtown area of Decatur IN. This home has a master bedroom with a comfortable queen bed that sleeps 2. Blackout curtains and vintage cottage decor. The second bedroom has two plush twin beds that with advanced noticed can be pushed together to make a King bed. There is a fully stocked kitchen and a washer and dryer to do laundry. The private patio is a nice spot to relax in the morning with coffee or to wind down at sunset.

Come enjoy the wide open country space in our quiet and peaceful guesthouse. Although you will be surrounded by solitude you will be just minutes from several towns. Enjoy the quiet of the surrounding fields and woods along with the beauty of the pond year round. The guesthouse is attached to our home but the garage is in between the two so it is very quiet for everyone. You will have your own private entrance.
