Fish, kayak, or swim; hike or birdwatch in a nearby preserve; read, write, find inspiration. With its raw poplar walls, the cabin offers a full-sized bed by a picture window, small TV, writer's desk/library, air conditioning, fans, baseboard heat, kitchenette, toilet, sink, outdoor shower (before first frost), small porch, grill, and a fire pit. (No wifi in cabin!) Simple and beautiful.

At least 3 State Parks are within 20 miles of this property. Also super close to the Parke County Covered Bridge Festival.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Rain or shine, the attached garage has an entertaining area. Ideal living with two couples and children while walking trails in the woods. Fishing pond has been stocked with Indiana fish, Blue Gill, Rock Bass, and Crappie. The fish can be kept and eaten. Plenty of deer and wildlife including wild turkeys and racoons. Two fire pits with chairs are on the 43 acres. Froggie nights under the stars.
