Amazing spot, 1 mile N of I70 but worlds away. Great view from the deck, nice private location. We are a very active outdoor couple that are more than happy to share local info, help plan... we do just about every outdoor sport there is, and are happy to give any beta we can. We also have river toys (a raft, 2 paddleboards, a duckie/ inflatable kayak, and 3 hardshell kayaks) that can be Borrowed in exchange for wine ;). We are in the center of Colorado's mountain biking community with a 100 miles of single track. Also just down the interstate from Vail and Beaver Creek resorts. The views alone are worth the visit! After hiking or skiing Sunlight Ski Area (30 min), head Downtown for dinner and a soak at the Hot Springs (10 min). In the summer, make the most of your trip and enjoy a float on the river or visit Glenwood Caverns.

Hear the river at the Frying Pan Studio

Basalt's central location is convenient to both ends of the Roaring Fork Valley. It is ten-minute walk along the Frying Pan River to downtown Basalt. However, transportation is recommended to get around the valley. We welcome pets and their responsible humans, either one large or two small/med. Let us know if you wish to bring yours. We ask that they be kenneled/pen/crate if left behind while you go out.
