Called “Slipper Rock” in memory of Bessie Lakes, an elderly lady that lived on farm many years ago. She could be heard laughing while playing in the stream that runs by the cabin. She called the stream “Slipper Rock”. The newly built cabin sits on 15 acres. Numerous hiking trails & horseback riding trails. Some trails in Daniel Boone National Forest. Bring your own horses. Relax sitting on porch, by fire pit or on rocks by stream. Nothing prettier than the night sky. Hope to see you all soon.

Kromer Cottage a cozy home built in 1937 and nestled in the countryside yet only 6 min. from Berea College, Historic Boone Tavern, and 15 minutes to Renfro Valley Entertainment Center. Hiking enthusiasts will find The Pinnacles of Berea nearby as well as Boone Trail Trace, and Flat Lick Falls Trail to name just a few. Delicious meals and shopping can be conveniently found in Berea. The Cabin on Panther Branch

Drive down Kentucky scenic highway 89 South just 9 miles south of McKee. The cabin is newly built and set back in a secluded area with a small creek running right beside the cabin and a larger creek just across the road. The Cabin on Panther Branch is a perfect place to come fish and kayak on the creek. Bring your ATV’s, side by side or dirt bikes and enjoy miles and miles of riding in S-Tree Tower in the Daniel Boone National Forest. We don’t think you will be disappointed with your stay.

Built in 1894, by the Lakes family, it has a romantic, rustic and nostalgic feel. This newly constructed bourbon themed cabin located on a 60-acre farm surrounded by the Daniel Boone National Forrest offers a rural experience including access to an extensive trail system that is perfect for horseback riders, hikers, ATV’s , rock climbers, boulders and cavers. These cabins are nestled at the mouth of a trail system that extends from Gravel Lick through S-Tree and Horse Lick. RV spots with hookups available to rent as well as additional cabins.
