This home was created for my wife (Sarah) after we received difficult news of her cancer diagnosis (Ewing Sarcoma) while pregnant. We were able to create an uplifting environment to support her as she battled courageously. Unable to leave the home much, we decided to bring life's beauty to her within the home and around the property. Sarah was the ultimate host who loved to bring people together. We now visit for my little kids to remember their mom. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Even though the property is only a few minutes off I-75, you'll feel like you're in another world. Only 15 minutes from Saginaw Bay.

Tittabawassee River is a short jot down the road. Feel free to use the kayaks I provide. Enjoy coffee on the deck while watching the turkeys & deer. Enjoy yard games and the bonfire pit. Grill out using the gas grill provided. The Tridge and Dow Gardens are 5 miles away. Feel free to soak it all in :)

This historic building was once home to the city taxi service, build in 1934 and fully renovated as townhouses in 2025. Unplug and take a walk along the lake, enjoy some fishing, paddleboarding, or a bonfire before turning in for the night. Enjoy a lake view from the main bedroom. Close the doors to the living room to create a second private sleeping area on the fold out couch.

We are about 25 miles to the Soaring Eagle Casino and 30 to Central Michigan University. Enjoy our cozy one bedroom home that also features a sleeping, reading and rocking porch. No pets please, but you may be greeted by our farm dog Hank!
