Little Bear Studio/Den is part of a house located at Little Bear Farm, an 8 acre private property with a large yard and field for romping with a dog, sledding, or walking around our pond and fields. Conveniently located near Banner Elk and Valle Crucis, we are close to shopping or the slopes. We are adjacent to 450 acres of forest that is part of the Blue Ridge Conservancy, offering hiking trails to the public. WE HAVE RECENTLY MADE SOME POSITIVE UPGRADES NOT REFLECTED IN PHOTOS OR DESCRIPTION.

We have an apple orchard, garden, a fire pit, private hiking and mtn biking trails straight out of the backyard and into the national forest, along with a kids bike pump track. Catch dinner off the back deck! cabin located directly on the Watauga River. Great to fall asleep to the sound of the running river! 10 minutes to Boone, 10 minutes to Sugar Mountain. Modern Kitchen with butcher block countertop and stone tile. Wood Beams throughout the house! Updated bathrooms with cedar ceilings and marble vanity tops! Community has hiking trails, a heated pool, tennis and basketball courts! We disinfect all surfaces and bleach all linens in between stays!

Sunbear also has high-speed internet for remote work and a backup generator. Cooler months offer backcountry hiking along creeks chocked with waterfalls off the eastern flank of the cabin. Summer features wildlife, Fireflies, and a nice quiet place to escape the summer heat.
