High Country Cabin

THIS CABIN IS NOT FOR EVERYONE-it's extremely rustic. NO WIFI/NO WASHER-DRYER/NO MICROWAVE/NO CABLE. Only heat source is woodstove. 1940 Cabin, originally bunkhouse for lumber mill. At 6500 feet in the tall trees of Sequoia National Forest. Near Kern river(rafting, fishing), hot springs, Trail of the Giants. Alta Sierra is dense neighborhood of cabins with neighbors close by. TWO GUESTS ONLY, NO PARTIES, NO PETS! Only 1 bar cell svs-plus record player/TV/videos/books/games. Heavy snow possible!

Bluebird Cottage Spectacular lake views

Hello and welcome to Bluebird Cottage. We are located 1 mile up a dirt road in the Isabella Highlands overlooking Lake Isabella. Our road is bumpy in and steep in areas, but we have never had a guest not make it up here. We are approximately a 3 hour Drive to Sequoia National Park. We are a 2 hour drive from Death Valley National Park. We are a 4 hour drive from Yosemite. We are 3 hr drive from Los Angeles. Bluebird Cottage is a cozy tiny home with a private outdoor space. Incredible views!

The Cabin at Three Falls Ranch

Three Falls Ranch Guest Cabin dates back to the early 1920’s. Recently remodeled, the cabin boasts 2 bedroom 2 bath (has the option for a 5th roll away bed). Visitors have access to over 1/3 mile of Poso Creek including the waterfalls, 130 acres of ranch hiking, bird watching, wildflowers, creek exploring & guided visits with our animals (mini goats, chickens , mini donkeys). Mountain forest cabin by trails and river rafting

Come visit the beautiful forest and breathe the fresh mountain air! Located in a peaceful mountain neighborhood with forest trails right out the back door — just 20 minutes to Lake Isabella, Kern River rafting, and 7 miles from Alta Sierra ski resort. The Trail of 100 Giants and the Sequoia National park are scenic day trips away (1.5–3 hrs). Our family cabin is a two story gambrel in a quiet vacation neighborhood where your back yard opens to the Alta Sierra National state park.

Lakeside Oasis

Incredible lake views from almost every room of the house. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. The property is over 10 acres and goes all the way down to the lake--but, please keep in mind it's pretty steep, so it's probably unsafe to directly get to the lake that way. That said, there's direct lake access less than 0.25 miles from the front door. The house is also only 29 minutes to Alta Sierra Ski Resort and 23 minutes to Remington Hot Springs!

We invite you to enjoy the gorgeous space we have created for our guests. It is a completely secluded guest home with a bathroom and kitchenette. Get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy cooking a meal on our BBQ while your spouse relaxes under the stars on our semi-private deck that is fully enclosed. Town is about a 20 minute walk from local bars and restaurants. This is a peaceful place to retreat after enjoying all this little town has to offer.
