Beautiful setting, rolling grassy hills, sheep and cows, also bird attracting native trees, occasionally visited by wallabies and koalas. Cottage is a 5 minute walk to the Hopkins river, good for swimming in hot weather. Also a 5 minute drive to the Hopkins Falls. House is designed with sustainability in mind, thermal mass concrete floor, north facing aspect, well insulated, wood heating.

Upstairs the house boost three spacious bedrooms, all equipped with split systems and tvs. The main bedroom has king bed, ample storage and a walk behind ensuite. The laundry is incorporated in the garage. There is also wifi and Netflix provided.

Shearer’s Cottage at Cambus Glen Highlands

Situated on our 170 acre farm “Cambus Glen” near the settlement of Framlingham in South-West Victoria, the Shearers’ Cottage is a fully renovated sheep shearers accommodation. The Scottish name “Cambus Glen” means valley where a twisting river passes - this refers to our 3km of Hopkins River frontage – Scottish because the farm is home to our small fold (or herd) of Highland Cattle.
