Headwaters Hideaway is the perfect place for you to unwind for a quick getaway, a week long stay, or an extended stay. Our cabin sits at the edge of our seasonal site campground on the shores of Crystal Lake (264 acres). Public access is within walking distance if you choose to enjoy boating or fishing on your stay. We also have 2 kayaks available. The kids will stay entertained with a playground and basketball hoops just across the campground access road.

Built in 1870s with Italianate architecture this beautiful stately brick house has large French windows and original wood floors The house is a step into history with modern updates to make guests feel right at home. Relax upstairs in a large jacuzzi tub. Enjoy grilling on the front porch area and enjoy the park a block away and downtown just three blocks with eateries and shopping downtown.

Cabin Cove By the River

Take a step back in time when you enter our little log cabin by the river. Built in 1949, this cabin is a replica of the log cabins built by the gold seekers of Alaska. Though modern in most aspects we have retained the native charm of unfinished wood, rough, hand-hewn logs and naked beams. The inspiration for the cabin was found by my great grandfather who spent time in Alaska working on the Alcan highway.

Newly constructed studio apartment above our garage. Calm, cozy and sunny interior in a quiet neighborhood setting. We have only lived in Fairmont a short time and we love it! It has a "Hallmark" town feel. You may meet our Labradoodle in the backyard - she is very friendly and will want to say Hi. We look forward to hosting you in this city of 5 Lakes!
