A unique and tranquil getaway. Come stay at this fish and wildlife themed cabin in the woods. There are antique firearms, fishing items and outdoor photos that we’ve taken. Enjoy the deck while eating dinner and watching the patio TV or enjoying your morning coffee around the fire pit. If the weather happens to be bad, no worries. This is the perfect place to sneak away with a loved one for a long weekend on the river. By day you watch the constant stream of floater and kayakers, by early evening it’s the wildlife’s turn with eagles, owls and crane take over the banks.

The Farmhouse on Clear Creek

An analogue place in a digital world. But it does have WiFi. Set on 250 acres that include Clear Creek, bluffs, pastures, and forest, the farmhouse offers seclusion and quiet for one or two people looking for a getaway. There are paths to wander, a deck to sit on overlooking a pasture, thousands of books to peruse, old maps, a turntable with some eclectic vinyl, and farmdogs who love new people. We live on site and can tell stories or let you be. We prefer some dialog before booking.

The Chaney Homestead

Welcome to the Chaney Homestead! If you are looking for a peaceful getaway in a rural setting then this is the place for you. This two bedroom country home was built by Alfred "Alf" Chaney and his wife Ruan Dye Chaney back in 1913 and remains in the family today. The house sets on 4.5 acres with an amazing view of the trees and hills from the back porch. We are located 7 miles east of historic Fort Gibson and just a 12 minute drive from Tahlequah, the capital of the Cherokee Nation.
