Listen to the woods around you and if you are quiet enough, you may see the deer walking the property. You will feel like you are miles from civilization, but with the convenience of being close to town.

The fully-furnished Smith Family Farm is a quiet getaway located just two miles off of I-20, mid-way between ATL and B’ham - perfect for a country escape. Listen to the sounds of Cane Creek, hike the miles of backcountry trails, enjoy the wildlife, drive the 281 scenic byway, explore the nearby wine trail, or watch the beautiful sunsets in the Talladega National Forest. If you are looking for a quiet getaway in a rustic cabin overlooking the river this is the place for you. It is between Atlanta Ga. & Birmingham Al. about 45 min. from the tallest mountain in the southeast and Talladega Racetrack in the heart of Dixie. The cabin is fully furnished with dishes, pots and pans. If you like to cook outdoors there are two one charcoal & one gas grill available for you. Also we offer a canoe or kayak with life vest while staying with us.

This 3BR, 1.5BA fully furnished home is nestled in a quiet, residential neighborhood just minutes from Cheaha Mountain. - 3.6 miles to Choccolocco Park and outdoor shopping at the Oxford Exchange - 3.1 miles to Oxford Preforming Arts Center - 10 miles to Coldwater Mountain Bike Trail - 19 miles to JSU and 17 miles to Talladega Super Speedway. Located on 7 acres in the beautiful Choccolocco Valley with gorgeous views of the Appalachian Foothills. In addition to lovely interior decor, outdoor spaces include patio with grill, covered area, and adjacent wildlife area/walking. The bedrooms are located on the second floor and accessible by stairs. The home is located adjacent to my home.
