Cairn Hill

This is the perfect retreat for the individual/couple who would like to meditate, read quietly, or write passionately. This lovingly maintained space is off the beaten path. One side is near the back of the Taos Indian Pueblo area, and to the North East is Eagle Nest Lake State Park. The final stretch to the cabin is bumpy, there is no TV or wifi, but the breeze through the trees coming off the foothills is pleasant, and there is very little traffic. Open some windows, grab a book, and relax.

Lovely Garden & Hobbit Suite, Llama Sanctuary

Stay where Gandalf & Frodo plan their next adventures. La Bonita Ermita is a small hermitage style home on a hillside with amazing views of the sunrise, sunset and Pecos Valley. The home was carved into the hillside with 4 terraced levels and is a stone's throw from Our Lady of Guadalupe Monastery. Literally boarding 10s of thousands of acres of the Sante Fe National Forest behind a private gate. A must stop if you are driving thru Pecos either on the Sante Fe trail or Historic Route 66. Immersed in nature and yet only 25 minutes to Sante Fe.
