One of the best spots on the island----famous for breakfast --think lobster benedict or banana pecan pancakes--- dinner is more upscale while still casual -the yellowtail snapper with a citrus buerre blanc sauce, angel hair pasta and fresh corn is one of the most beloved food experiences on the island. Enjoy eating outdoors under a huge banyan tree with live local music and play ping pong while you wait for a table (and you most likely will). If you're on a budget just go for a cocktail at the outdoor bar. P.S. KEY LIME PIE WITH A MERINGUE

This place is a must for visitors as it is Key West weird. You won't find anything else like it anywhere else.

Blue Heaven (also in Bahama Village) is a funky outdoor place with great food and drink! You can play ping pong in the area that once held a boxing ring where Hemingway challenged locals.
