I know book stores aren't everyone's cup of tea, but this one is kind of special and independent. The second-hand one next door also has a great bar/cafe courtyard.

You won't find a better bookstore in the world. If they don't have it, they'll get it. They have a great range of travel books, magazines and periodicals, too.
