This is a counter service restaurant inside the market. Don’t be deceived by the name — they also serve breakfast! They are known for their crab cakes, so try them out!

Seriously.. some of the best brunch food in DC. Inside Eastern Market with lots of specialty food options. If you stay at my unit you HAVE to go here for the brunch.

Breakfast and lunch 6 days a week inside the Eastern Market building -- cash only, and be prepared to wait in line. Bluebuck pancakes are worth the trip though!

Located inside the historic Eastern Market, this place has excellent breakfasts and lunch. I love The Brick breakfast sandwich -- fried eggs, cheese, bacon on a fresh roll.
