(Fajardo) excellent place to spend the entire day. 30 minute drive from the apt. the trail to the riverruns through private property. it will cost aprox $5 per person, includes parking. Bring your cooler and food for the day.

Charco Frio is a series of pools along the river where you can enjoy cooling off on a hot day. The rugged part is Las Tinajas, which, after a hike in, has a rope swing, a little rock water slide, pretty waterfalls, river views and some nice pools to enjoy. Refer to guide provided in welcome email.

This is a great place to explore the rivers of the rainforest complete with a rope swing, cliff jumping and waterfalls.
